About the Author

Erin Langner is a writer and arts administrator based in Seattle, Washington. She received her B.A. in Humanities from the University of Colorado and her M.A. in Museology from the University of Washington. She has  held positions at the Henry Art Gallery and the Seattle Art Museum. Langner is a regular contributor to the New American Paintings blog, and her writing has appeared in The Stranger and ARCADE.  In 2010, she was a participant in the Creative Capitol/International Art Critics Association Art Writing Workshop, selected by mentoring critic Peter Plagens. She is currently at work on a collection of essays exploring the Las Vegas Strip as a contemporary curiosity cabinet.
